Is this a coincidence???????

It's kind of strange. I'm 1 week into 12/12 and all but 4 of my plants have already shown sex (7 females/4 now-dead males/and 4 as of yet undetermined). The strange thing is, when I germinated my seeds some of them cracked within the first 24-36 hours. I planted those and then continued germinating the others for another 3 days. Out of the 1st group to germinate 4out of 5 were males, but the seeds that cracked later produced 6 ot of 10 females. Has anyone else ever noticed this??? I'm trying to determine if this was a fluke or do female seeds usually take longer to crack open than males. Any ideas????

Yes ive noticed this too. I think its pretty general, males are quicker, taller skinnier, and females are slower, wider and shorter. lol No offense to females.

Cool, I was kind of trippin' on that last night!! Got up this morning and killed off 2 more males (no loss, they were scrawny) :(

Makes me want to pitch any early openers -- but then I might trash some good females. I just hate wasting 8 weeks on a plant and it really be growing good, then discover it's a fuckin' male!!!!
