I didn't see it on my nutrient photo deficiency/burn chart. There ere only a couple of thhad, center of the plant. Anyone have some insight? Thanks in advance!

Classic Magnesium deficiency. You can also use Epsom Salt ( 1 tsp per gallon )

There is no "calmag" deficiency. There is ca and mg. The photo shows mg def. Use 1/2 tsp/gal epsom salt to treat.

Are those the only leaves on the entire plant that looks like that? Where were those leaves located? People are so quick to jump on the 'deficiency' or 'pH' bandwagon when a correction of a misdiagnosis may wreck your plant.
If those are your only bad leaves, don't change a thing. If they came from the top of your plant, it could be from too much light. If they came from the bottom of your plant, you may not be watering frequently enough.
That being said, if your plant food contains magnesium then I highly doubt you're deficient.

Yeah and sometimes when you see a mg deficiency, it really is a mg deficiency. Eyes don't lie.

On these canna boards, if someone has a 'deficiency', it's likely from operator error. In regards to this thread, the mg needs of these plants is actually fairly low making an actual Mg deficiency unlikely.

I see where you're coming from, and I definitely agree that often times people are all too hasty to scream "NUTE DEFICIENCY", but this is not all together true in this case. Inert media usage often leads to micro-nutrient deficiency as many commercial chemical nutrient formulas lack said micro-nutrients making Mg def. not uncommon at all in gardens where inert media are used in combination with inadequate nutrient regimen. Which I'm assuming is often the case on these boards given the amount of reading most of these first time growers seem to be doing (and, to be clear,by that I mean "not much"). On the operator error tip...yea hit that on the head!
