I think this plant is a male, can anyone help me out, These are the best pictures I could get, I hope they are good enough quality.

still needs more time. could be either or.
There's a few week window before a male can cause problems. After another week or two, it'll be very clear what the sex is, and you'll still have time to safely remove the males.

Over the years, I've developed a "nose" for sexing my plants early. I carefully watch /smell the seedlings and have gotten really good @ "forecasting" their sexes. So far, I've been about 90% accurate, but I still wait for verification (pistils, stamens) to show. I have a little Hindu Kush which I'm predicting will be male, a Sleestack Skunk, and Afghani, which look like they will probably be females. I will know how accurate I am in less than 2 weeks![]()
Thanks Deadly, Yeah- Ime, males are (usually) taller but that depends on the strain. I've had indica males that looked like females, but there are other indicators. For me, a "smell test" also helps. My smallest (slowest) seedling is an Afghani, and I'm 99% certain it's a female. INCREDIBLY STINKY, and just 3" tall. Growth pattern indicators: Females tend to be short & bushy with long leafs which dominate the plant structure. So, smell, structure, and growth pattern all indicate sex early (to a trained eye). Also, blue light spectrum as well as cooler temps. along with a 12/12 from seed cycle all increase the Female ratio. Will post back when the seedlings indicate sex and see if I was right.Ok I will be keeping a close eye on this one, I read that males seem to grow taller then females, and that plant is noticeably taller then all the rest, even though they got the same lights etc. Eh one male won't be horrible![]()

Here's what I do: Start seeds in 20oz party cups under 12/12 Metal Halide and grow them for a month. They will all show sex by that time, (6-8" tall) and I simply transplant the females into larger containers, top them (4th node) and switch the timer to 16/8 (saves power) and the plants do well under this cycle. I veg my females for 6-8 wks. and then flower. I usually throw out the males, but this run, I'm going to use a stud-male (Hindu Kush) to pollinate my females. You are definetely on the right track with your 6500K spectrum for starting seeds & vegging. I have heard good reports of ppl flowering under BLUE spectrum (substantiated claims of increased potency as well as tighter buds). This makes sense to me, as THC production is directly related to the spectrum you are using. I am flowering my crop under a 400w MH right now. I'll post the results with a smoke report when finished.Yep, I believe you are right, and I ran them under blue light in veg "6500k CFLs" and they ran at around 71-72 degrees, but I did 18/6 for 8 weeks, then went 36hrs darkness and then to 12/12s now with 2700ks,I will post updates as soon as I know for sure![]()
Nice Nugs !! Did you get a final dry weight on those?I flower under Metal Halide and HPS. The plants get swapped between rooms depending on size and a few other factors. A light rail with both would be very nice. I had planned on swinging the plasma light toward the end of flowering but the bulb crapped out. So that will have to wait, LOL.
I just hung an indica whose bud was so tight I'm actually concerned about mildew. My place runs very low humidity, right now I'm around 40% and that's off the chart high for the Mojave (we've had rain LOL). She's on the left sorry for the color this is my HPS room.
