Using smart pots, so water drips from the sides. 2 pots are right next to each other and both have this on them. Is it something to worry about? Thanks!

Also, from time to time I tend to see little flies or mosquitoes flying around, but I kill them quickly. Is that bad?

Fungus Gnats?
Dont let those pots touch either man. Besides growing mold /fungus. The roots think its soil. Because its dark. Then they push through, the pot.

Can see what looks like roots poking through lower down on the pic, but the main white patch certainly looks more like mold
