Only thing I have used is molasses and 2 feedings of 1/4 strength fox farms big bloom and tiger bloomLikely an early phosphorous deficiency. Also zinc. Are you using any micronutes?
Synthetic nutrients do not kill beneficials. Forum myth.We need to know your soil? Big bloom is kind of a worm casting organic nutrient. Tiger bloom is synthetic. For example, if you have big bloom fed ocean forest, and pour in tiger bloom, most if not all soil life will be killed off creating more problems down the line. Did this problem only happen a week or two after tiger bloom? Can you check ppm?
Soil is ocean forest, no I don't have any way to check ppm. So I shouldn't use tiger bloom? We need to know your soil? Big bloom is kind of a worm casting organic nutrient. Tiger bloom is synthetic. Yeah that's confusing why fox farms would have both on a feeding schedule it they don't work well with each other, but I'm a newb so I don't knowSynthetic nutrients do not kill beneficials. Forum myth.
Canopy temp is about 82. I thought it could be light burn so I did some LST and raised the light. But from the pictures I've seen of light burn, it doesn't look similar. The light could be too close to the top of the plant, whats the canopy temp
nute burn, or a deficiency normally start at the bottom of the plant first
Well yes, if the soil is only "sipping" on salts, then you can keep it alive as long as you have a water only cycle. You can easily kill them off using synthetics to the point of salt build-up, atleast thats what used to happen to me. Im willing to be corrected thoughSynthetic nutrients do not kill beneficials. Forum myth.
Alright thanks, that's what I'll do.You shouldn't need to fert with FFOF soil for at least most of the grow. Plus, you have dark green leaves and leaf tip death, which both indicate too much fert. Just water when dry and see how it goes.
I did, but now they are as high as they will goRaise the lights.
