Is this bad??

okay so im secretly growing a plant in my closet
so i have 2 27 watt CFL's but during the day i have to take out one of the lamps becuase its too big and i have to cover the plant
and other lamp (smaller) with a box so my dad wont see the light coming out of my closet.

first, is it bad for the plant to be covered with the lamp in a box... think airflow and heat

secondly, is it bad for it to be getting a 50% reduction in lumens half of the time, like will it think its time to flower or what?

man its goona be hard to flower a plant under one cfl.... but yea im sure the plant doesnt like that whole lot, but it shouldnt harm it much unless you leave it covered for hours and hours. and the plant wont flower unless it has 12 hours of complete drakness a couple days ina row.

The whole idea is bad. Growing in dad's house is cool if dad knows. He's the one paying for the place after all, right? Now aside from the lack of consideration of the fact that dad might not want somebody growing weed in HIS house, there are other problems.
2x27w is weak, you can get away with that for a while to veg, but need considerably more light to flower anything worth growing for 3 months. Plants need ventilation as much as people do. If it can't breathe, it won't grow. What you need to do is wait until you can attempt a proper grow with proper equipment. A lamp under a cardboard box is a fire hazard in my book. Until you can do it right, read, read, read. Then when it's time you'll know what to do.

First off, do you know how big a plant has to be to produce enough weed for a days worth of smoke? Do you have any idea how long that takes? Not only that, but more than likely this is bagseed, so you have no idea if its a male or female. One plant, secretly grown with 2 26 Watt CFLs will give you about 3 bowls worth of headache weed, if it survives.

Tell you what kid, grow up a little, get your own place, do some reading, then try this again.

im planning on buying a hps and getting an odor control thingy for flowering
it is a bagseed
maybe itll be male
but for now... fuck it
ill get a bigger carboard box, a real pot, some real soil, and grow a real plant x)
hell i dont even care if i only get one bowl out of her.
