i have a 2 week old plant thats on its 4th set. but the new one thats sprouting has half of the two leaves turned reddish purple. the plant looks really healthy though. so could it be just the plant? or am i over fertilizing?:-?

Whats your temp during the day and the night thats always a factor to the color of the leafs. Might be too cold, it all depends

I've never seen leaves turn partially purple except from cold weather.

Is there a sharp line or color change, or do the colors blend?

I've seen many different mutations, but not one that makes leaves partially purple.

Regardless, I would consider purple leaves to be a positive thing for reasons of flavor.

it just blends together. but its exactly half of each leaf. its weird but the plant is still going good. its a bit cooler though. cause its been raining for 2 days. but i moved it outta the rain and its like 60 right now

probibly weather. some sativas that are use to growing in hot climates will purple up even if it drops only 10 degrees. its nothing to worry about my "texada time warp" or at least thats what the seedbank told me they where have purple hues on the leaves. its pretty normal. although a pic would help us be able to determine whats going on.

never had my leafs turn purple unless they were in flower. but i also think it must be the cold weather.

I've had it happen almost every year when starting seeds inside for the upcomming outdoor season. I usually just see it on the bottom of the leafs.
