Is this from a lack in nutrients?

My plant is 21 days old today. I just replanted in a 1.5-2 gallon pot yesterday and there was a ton of roots in the bottom of the solo cup. Came home today and the leaves were still droopy. I added 1/4 tsp of dyna gro folliage pro to a gallon of water and fed about 12oz since I just watered yesterday. Temperature is holding at 72-75 using 24/0 lighting, and humidity is holding at 40. I checked the runoff yesterday and it was 6.8. Is there something else I should be looking at? My soil doesnt have any nutrients either.

Let them root into the pot. not sure what soil you are using. they may not need nutes added for a week or more. quite likely that you should leave them alone. possible you overwatered which is a bad idea. many do this while learning. i did it recently by mistake (was tired) but things worked out ok. patience is a virtue as is seeking knowledge. the plant is forgiving and grows in a range of ph, nute levels, and climates but this is not a hard and fast rule because genetics vary. always good to start with seed/cuts that are not fussy

Easier for me to explain my approach:
Say a Seedling is in a 4'' pot
I fill a 2 gal with dry pro-mix ( a soil medium that is peat based, has no nutes)
I take water, do my nutes to 500 ppm then pour water in, mix the soil, add more water if needed
I get the 'soil' moist but not dripping out the bottom. i use clean hands to do this and make sure water is absorbed but not too wet
Reason: over saturated roots are deprived of oxygen and root disease can occur (done it, try to avoid it)
The goal here is to get the roots to spread throughout the pot
I leave them alone. I do not water them for almost a week. Sometimes more. This will depend on temp, rh, etc

guys will tend to baby small plants. ime 'coddling' them is not good
I can feed a seedling with 2 sets of true leaves at 1000ppm and put them under a 1000 w bulb at 36''/ 90cm
I don't recommend this as one needs to learn to 'read' the plants and understand them before 'pushing them'

I am not a zen master lol but i know some stuff about soil mediums and soil

If the soil dries out to much add a drop or 2 of liquid soap. the ionic bond between roots and soil is damaged, so to speak, by the soil getting to dry. Also, the lack of water in the soil will cause the nutrient level at the rootzone to go too high and leaf tips can burn

Do a lot of reading. there are many good threads on here. hope this is a starting point.

I want to be helpful but really feel that all must 'put in' some time. by this i mean reading. a lot. this mj thing is way overcomplicated by many. ironically, it may take a lot of reading to understand what to do and why one is doing it to avoid pitfalls.

one member here, skunkd0c, recently shared some stuff with me about nft. it really blew my mind. so simple yet not used a lot from what i can see.

it does look to be getting big enough that it could benefit from some light nutes.. go easy on them.. about 1/4 what it says on the bottles.. less is more.. always easier to add more then to take anything away once you've added it ime..

hold the heck on. clean the leaves off first. how can they breath with all that shit on them. then let them dry more before you water/feed again. that is all yo u need to do. they look great other than you are a bad father to your ladies letting all that soil stay on them. not yelling at you too much. even when dust gets on the leaves mist it off them top and bottom of leaves. the better they can breath the happier they will be.

They stretch to the light, so maybe move your light up if it's too close? ALSO, take mind to what you're feeding. Each nutrient helps the formation of the leaves and/or roots ect, so you maybe feeding it to create more leaves like this?

@killemsoftly I appreciate all the advice and totally agree that people have to put the time in with research. Ive put probably 30-40hrs+ but am very skittish since I killed my first batch. Love how you word everything, very clear and paints a great visual!

@Darrin661 Not a grow tent. A garage type cabinet that is like 30"h x 30"w x 15" deep. Lights are about 2" away. Theres 4 23w under one 10" reflector so there pretty much no loss of light. I screwed two "y" adapters into it. It was a tight fit but I think its perfect.

@racerboy71 Probably nothing but I didnt light how the leaves are not reaching for the light. I did just give about 12 oz of dyna pro foliage pro. Has 9-3-6. I used 1/4 tsp in a gallon so that should work out to like 1:3000 according to the bottle. Im posting pictures underneath this that shows how it looks after 24hrs.

The pH is too high for hydro nutes.. You should really use a hydroponic medium in the future if you're going to use hydroponic nutrients.

While it doesn't look that bad, it does have the symptoms of a slightly high pH nutrient solution.

fyi: most people here have killed off a plant or two

to be really clear: i believe growing/learning go together. very hard to read up and then implement perfectly so i see it as a hand in hand thing
i feel that it's important to not get down on oneself when mistakes are made and they will be made (usually)
they do look ok though i do agree with the gent who suggested misting them clean. very good idea

Thanks guys. I will work on the ph and most likely will go with a hydroponic medium next time. I would rather only have to find out the ph of the water instead of measuring the runoff and adjust from there. Cause once you figure it out you move up to the next pot size and youre back to square one.
