Is this genetics?

So here is the deal. I call this plant Jesus because it has died and came back to life on Easter. Heres the back story. I have spent three years building my soil. I add manure in the spring and lime in the fall. I compost all of our vegetable waste in a worm farm and add the castings to the base of my plants weekly. I have also added Endo/Ecto Myco, Trichoderma, and bacteria incolulants to the soil via weekly watering at dusk. Every 10-14 days I folier feed my plants with a very weak mixture of Epsom salt (1/2 teaspoon) Iron and Zinc (1/2 teaspoon) and Fish Emulsion fertilizer (1/2 teaspoon) in a half gallon spray feeder (mainly to rinse the dust and pest off of the plant). This one particular plant has died once before. This plant first sprouted it had yellow leaves. Thinking it was a nute deficiency. I added a general cover all 20-20-20 commercial fertilizer and it killed the plant. I cut the plant down to the dirt and stopped the commercial fertilizer supplement. The plant regrew, but with yellow leaves still. I am starting to think that its just genetics. All of my other plants are vibrant and doing well in the same bin and on the same water/fert. program? Anyone ever seen this before? I would like to add that this is only two weeks worth of growth. So even though the plant is yellow, it still seems to be growing well. I dont know the strain. sorry, but I do alot of cross breeding and acquire seeds from many sources. I dont label, I just plant and watch what sprouts. I think the surprise of seeing what grows is entertaining.
