Is this looking normal? No trichomes yet

Hi guys, just wondering if this is looking normal/healthy. Im growing 'critical' from feminised seed bank, really fast growing. Heres some pictures for you, im on day 38:





Just wondering when trichomes are gonna start to appear? the seedbank claims this strain does seed to harvest in 8-10 weeks, am I on schedule?

You look a little bit delayed. Don't listen to what the seed bank says, listen to what your plant says. That plant is looking for at least another 5 weeks IMO.

Just remember they have been flowering for only like 18 days, there is usually like a 2 week "transition" time after flipping your lights. And seedbank times are only estimated..

Thanks for the reply! like you said, im not gonna harvest before its ready, I want the quality to be spot on. Although I spoke to another guy who was growing the same strain and although his plant looked very different to mine, his actually took 11 weeks from seed to get 50/50 amber cloudy trichomes so I will remain optimistic about having quality bud for christmas

Thanks for the reply. It started to show signs of sex around 11-12 days ago so i think its doing pretty well

Looks good. Trichomes will start @ week 4-5 Id say... 8-10 weeks isnt from seed.... 8-10 weeks is how long it takes to flower... Thats after probably like 6 weeks in Veg....

Nope, the seedbank claims seed to harvest in 9-10 weeks: http://www.feminisedseeds.co.uk/critical.html And its an auto flower strain

Looking good. The Trichomes will begin to develop later on in the plant's flowering stage. You say this is an auto-flower strain?

5 weeks? damn im really hoping for fresh bud to hand out amongst my friends for christmas

.. you might possibly have some bud then,

though id not cut alot (it should be allright to smoke though by christmas, but you´d probably be happier with a nice newyears smoke)

..if it looks ready enough, you could cut some on the 20th,have it dried by the 25th or 24rth.

then let the rest finish (you might cut 10-20% on that earlier date)

but its best to see, im just making guesses.
