wait until you sure, sor sure, u can definately tell its male before theres chance of pollen coming out, it COULD just be new growth, post pics tomorrow or thursday and well have a look then :D

My mango is strange like that, it looks like little balls coming out and then the white hairs pop out from them. Id wait a few more days to know for sure.
