Is This Normal?

I "casually" planted a seed of unknown origin in a planter and it started flowering in 8 weeks from germination!! I used nothing special, just put the plant in a southeast window and watered occasionally. Is this the norm now for seeds, to flower so early? Someone said it was a "sea-of-green" seed.

sea of green is a method of growing indoors. its autoflowering it seems and yes it will be ok.
