Is This Normal ?

Hi People, I've had this plant growing for about 6 - 8 weeks now, and the plant doesn't seem to be getting any taller... but it's getting thicker and stockier...
I've also noticed that the entire stem from the ground to the tip is covered in what appears to be little buds... Is this normal for such a small plant ? Or have I contributed to it by starting the plant off under lights and then moving it into the bush? How does one clone from something like this without damaging the plant ???

where do you live? That plant is awfully small to be flowering and doesnt seem to have much potential at this point, you are done with the part of flowering where they surge in growth and then start to focus on flowers, those flower clusters are pretty sad looking, you dont even really have a solid cola formed yet. No offense meant to you of course. I'm just saying that i would not get my hopes up very high for it. you probally dont have enough time left in the season as well for it to fully finish unless it stays pretty warm in your area.

What swamp are you growing this thing next to? Are there alder bushes nearby? And yes, it's flowering! You can change this by placing it under a mercury vapor 400w light, but it looks like it's going to produce a seed or two. So second thought...you can finish it and use the seed to start a new plant. Potplants like to live around hardwood such as maple as the trunk of a well developed potplant has bark very similar to a maple sappling. Judging by the pic you should get almost a joint from this beast of a plant! The first time I noticed flowers in Canada was when I planted in shaded areas. I've seen this before and it has to do with not enough light and improper durations and improper soil conditions to promote proper budding or vegetation. This thing has a root problem!

Thanks. I live in Australia, and it's getting warmer now. I think where I fucked up was starting my plants off under lights and then moving them into the bush shortly after.
The soil is very rich, mostly comprising of Horse shit, loam sand, and compost. I recently gave them some fertilizer that is supposed to promote root growth and flowering.
The plant has gotten bigger since last pic and has a few buds developing... This was just one plant that looked a bit different to the rest. My others are solid plants with alot of bud growth, but they are only small plants - about a foot and a half tall...
The ones that I have positively identified as females, is it possible to trim the plants back and have them regrow again into bigger plants?

Australia mate. That particular pic was of one plant that just looked different from the others. I don't know why its flowering either... I thought it might have something to do with the fact I started them under lights...maybe its the fertilizer??? Thanks for your input. Appreciate it...

if I am not mistaken your light cycle is going up no? Meaning your going into spring season?

how much of a difference was their between the light cycle they were under indoor and what the cycle was outdoors when put outside? this is actually a pretty common occurence when people put their indoor started plants outside a bit early, not a big deal really, it will revert back to veg since your light cycle is increasing still.
