sorry i cant get any pics up,so ill try to be detailed,so i have 7 plants in total, but 3 of them are looking a little strange i think, they are 9 days old and about 5 inches, they just started to a third set of leafs.but they very first are still almost verticall,i would epspect them to grow outward more right?also the first two set of leafs are different sizes, one will b long and the outher short,is this a bad sighn?do yall think they plants she be bigger than 5 by now?also one of my plants(the tallest)is leaning at a akward angle,y is that?

this is all normal plants grow at different rates and as fan leaves grow they look slightly awkward at first some round or odd but as they grow they will straighten out and look like normal fan leaves.

also i have noticed that my plants that grew tallest and faster than the rest ended up as males, but this is not always true just something i have noticed in my growing.

If you do not want tall plants you have a couple of options, you could top or lst them to keep the height down (Or both). Apart from that just ensure your lights are at the correct distance so you don't get stretch. If you tell us your type of lights, wattage and current distance we can advise.

metal halide bulbs will help keep everything compact. at least the spacing in between the nodes will be closer
