you can flower the plant at any time that suits you there is no should i do it now or later, bearing in mind that plants will double maybe tripple the size in the flowering stage you have to think about space blah blah blah...
By the way.. are you planning on flowering you plant on the window sill? hope not.

Cheeese, why not on the window sill. ?????just out of curiosity. Im not going 2 , i have a (400wHPS)
P.s my last plant Grown under CFL only grew a few inches during the whole flowering stage and I got a SH*$ yeild. Hence the HPS this time : )

Contrary to many beleifs, you should always wait for plant to mature. Which is 3-4 weeks in.
From Book Below
" Always wait to induce flowering until after the pre flowers appear. Inducing flowering before pre flowers develope will stress plant. This stress could cause odd growth, and might cause Hermie.
Induceing flowering before pre flowers show does not speed up flowering.
Flowering will occur at the same time as if you waited for pre flowers to show."
I shortened it a bit but thats from The BOOK.

To be honest I have no idea why people do the seed 12/12. They are taking huge risk of stress related issues and besides that, WHY? I mean the longer she veges the stronger the Auxins (hormones) and thats what you want in 12/12, you want a plant that is more than ready to flower so she will put out a Strong/High yeild.
I veg for close to 3 months or 24" which ever comes first. I am a patient person with outstanding yeilds and quality.

For future reference you should have at least six nodes and to make sure it is mature they should be alternating before you put it in flower. I don't believe in 12/12 from the start but I'm not going to start a thread of arguing about it, I know that is how a lot of people do it and claim it's the best. I like to grow a nice size mature plant before going into flower, but that's just me.

Altenating nodes is also a sign of a female in my experience from grows. You do not have to wait until the sixth nodes appear either. Some plants grow slower or fatser then another. One might have six nodes at 3 weeks and some might not be out of seedling stage on the 3rd week. Some plants Mature faster, some Slower. The height of the plant when you deceide to flower it will determine the final height. This is mostly predetermined by strain, but light also plays an intricate part. I do agree one should wait to see the two stamens or preflowers on the sides of the nodes before flowering. It will cause stress if 12/12 from the jump. That is just lame to me. I like to veg under a MH, then I swap to HPS to flower. It works the best. Although I do have a homie that has recently added some T5's to his veg room and I am pleasantly surprised by the increase in vegative growth. Cudos to the T5. Your plant is ready to flower now, but I would give it a few weeks to let the PH adjust for optimal flowering. Hope this helps...1ne Love

I was useing 600 watt mh in veg 3 of them, then I switched to 5 t-5s , well I started with 3 but the veg went WILD and I had to buy 2 more. I love t-5s

Dr Greene. I agree this plant grew SO FAST. I would give it natural sunlight from dusk till dawn on a windowsill. then move it to a 400w HPS for the remainder of the time to get my 18 hours of sun in.
For Fertiliser I add 4 fert spikes to the soil. and spray the Leaves 6 times a day with a water and fert mix. then twice a week I water it with high Nitrogen fert,
My theory is feed feed feed,
Im a bodybuilder and the more shit I take the bigger I get so I treat my plants the same LMAO.
