Is this safe

So long story short, I got a guy to use my harvest to make oil. The method was; he soaked all the bud in what i thought was alcohol, strained through a net the alcohol, then strained that through coffee filters, finally cooking it slowly till left with oil.

I was just throwing out the can of alcohol and it turns out to be this shit

Now i know it'll be small quanties at a time, but by the time I've ingested all my oil I'll have ingested a full cans worth of residue. Like wtf???

Does anyone else use anything like this, are my internals safe? 5 months it took me to get this to last me a year or more, im fuming, pardon the pun.

I don’t think you should be letting your buddy make extracts for you anymore. I wouldn’t ingest any of that. His method of purging it is non existent other than evaporation, leaving you with acetone in solution; which alone pulls polar crap out you don’t want in there.. Then you have methanol which is not an ideal solvent and toluene which isn’t a popular solvent for extracts at all. Plus, this stuff could have other residues in there. Did he do a glass test to check for residue? Did he purge it in any way? If he is cooking it to evap, he has probably boiled off a lot of your terpenes... this makes me sad. It is the way I did it as a kid, except only ever with 99% iso alcohol. No way I would be using a gun wash solution!

Acetone can be used safely for cannabis extraction . But more processes are used to make it safe.
