Is this the right plug for my new 240V Lumatek ballast?

Greetings greenaphiles! I ordered this ballast stoned in bed on my phone one night only to realize its a 240V. I have a plug in my garage that I believe will work, but wanted to post on here and ask. So heres the ballast:

and heres the breaker:

and a crappy out of focus pic of the only switch wired to that breaker, which is the outlet in question:

Is this right? Will this work? I don't know a watt from an amp from a volt so I do not want to do anything unsafe. I would never mess with my breaker boxes but if this is something that will melt my ballast or start my house on fire I will just list it on Ebay or something :)

Also does anyone know if these bulbs will work with this ballast?

It says "Use Only With Ballast for ANSI S106 Lamps" on the box and ya. I have no idea what that means.

Any help is super appreciated friends!!!!!

Oh here's a pic of the last harvest because it was delicious and I'm really in the mood to out do myself and hope this new setup is the ticket!

Looks like you should be fine! everything seems to be in order to plug and play, great choice in bulbs !! I do the 1000 watt. doesnt that ballast give you a chice of 220 or 110? you should be able to get a 110 cord for it, unless you don't have an option.

Well, it is a 220VAC outlet. Not in the best of shape though, you might want to replace it with a "NEMA 6-30R", your wall socket is a NEMA 6-20R.

Yea that outlet physically is a but worse for wear.... I will probably hve someone replace it this weekend before I plug in the new ballast; just wanted to make sure it would work before I did that.

Apparently this ballast is 240v only, non switchable. Probably why it was so cheap hee hee!

Thanks for the thumbs up!

I was wondering to myself I was all self... you do not have a 240V timer. Can you just get those anywhere? Like heady duty appliance timers or something?
