Is this thing looking ok?

you should start to see them in the next week. some plants take longer to start the budding process.

A couple weeks usually to get the buds growing, like Dr G Said.

Ever considered tying the branches down in an lst or even supercrop method? It's not too late by any means, get the canopy spread out and even tied down, put the lights right in her face and you will like the results. Safe and easy.

Remember-- you do not start the countdown of "days to harvest" until she starts to bud- NOT when it went into 12/12!!
And how fast it'll bud depends on your lights, nutes and the age/strain of the plant... the more sativa and/or younger the plant- the longer it takes!
Has it at least sexed yet???

I had over 12 strains here in the past week that took damn 3 weeks maybe longer to show sex! They where all (fem) beans), and now there all shooting out pistols. ;) it just took um a good while where the Sativa dom. Now Indica's on the other hand will show somewhat quicker, along with flowering a hell of a lot quicker then the Sativa's..

Different people time it different ways. If you veg long enough you'll see sex way before you go serious with 12/12, so what date do you use then? When they start to get fatter?

The grower determines the harvest date not the plant.

Be like Paul Masson, and sell no wine before it's time. Blast From the Past http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSs6DcA6dFI

Really? A need for sarcasm?

No-- you start when they have been in 12/12 and get small clusters of calyx's/hairs meaning they are beginning to bud-- which is what I already stated before...

This is how most breeders time the plants... hence- how I and Draig tell people to do it... if you always start at day 1 of 12/12- you are most likely to harvest some strains way too early and are not gettin the true potential from the plant.

If people want them to go longer-- or LIKE to harvest early for whatever reason-- YEAh it's up to the grower..

but when a 1st time grower asks for advice-- isn't giving them the most generalizesd and widely accepted way the best for them AT THAT POINT until they learn to 'read" their plants???

Then that would mean i have 5 strains that finish in 42 days and 1 in 36 days and that just isnt it. Flower time is when photo period changes and chemical changes start within the plant. Just because you may not see signs, like hairs, for 8-14 days doesnt mean the plant is not flowering, but the countdown has begun.

Everyone times it different. My conclusion and what I now do is to start my day count not during transition but when the first bud appears. I have found that my plants harvest then aligns with the breeders claims of time with. What the breeders "flowering time" states!
Flowering also obviously is slightly affected by nutes, environmental factors, etc.
Checking the trich's is the only way to know for sure, and I also go by the pistols fading.

Way I see it, it wouldn't make any sense to say "from start of 12/12" vs "from start of 1st signs of flower", because what if the plant takes 3 weeks to start flowering? Then it'd be like that time isn't significant, when it sure is!

I think if they say something like it's 9 weeks when it's really 11, it's them just bullshitting, trying to advertise the plants as more appealing. These days, seems like the industry has been virtually overtaken by a sea of rookie growers in it only for the money, way I see it, of course there are going to be companies happy to feed them the bullshit they want to hear. Imho.
