Is this to hot ?

Good morning everyone . So here's what's going on. Just moved everything from the grow tent to the grow room. I have a small 8x12 room with two 600w HPS and a G8LED 600w. I have a fan going , a small 2in fan sucking air from outside, and a 4 inch fan blowing outside. The temp on one digital thermometer shows 84 and stayed there all night with humidity at 53%. The other digital temp says 82 with 55% humidity and finally made inferred thermometer meter shows 75 on the leafs and soil. Is this too hot in here or should I try to cool it down more ? I've heard mixed messages. One book says don't go over 85 , Ed Rosenthals Marijauna handbook but if the leaf temp is good , then you are fine, and the other book, the growers bible by Jorge says keep in in the 70s . Any suggestions? I'm not running CO2 also, just fresh air

it really depends on the strain, generally 75-85,is good. However if you start seeing leaf curl its important you lower the heat or raise the lights, leaf curl will reduce total photosynthesis response from your plant.Sativas are generally more tolerant of higher ambients, indicas with their huge leaf volume can be more susceptable to intensity induced leaf curl,in essence, watch your plants for a reaction.

Ok thanks a LOT ! Im growing all indicas and a couple hybrid.

84 is OK especially when you have some air moving so you don't get hot spots. Would you be better at 78? Yes but it's not a night and day difference either where you would get 5 lbs at 78 and you're only gonna get 1 at 84. It will be comparable and there's so many other factors that affect quality and yield just try and hit all those marks and you'll be fine amigo

Thanks covert! I'm gonna let it ride and see what happens

82-84f 50-55% is perfect running leds or les IMO that's my goal range. Hid lighting has a lot more far red heating up the canopy, that's why its hot even with air cooling. So running hid you want keep the room cooler because the actual canopy surface temp is higher. Can test with a laser temp gun.

Your all good.
