is transplanting necessary?

can you put your plants into a large pot from day 1, so u dont have to transplant them?

i actually prefer to do it that way if i can. there is no inturruption period while the plant adjusts after transplant, and the roots can really spread their balls early on and establish the plant. also i find it helps with feeding because if you transplant a tiny root ball into fresh hot soil, you now have to wait for the plant to use what's in the new soil before you can feed, and it can really screw with a feeding schedule.
