i dont think their are any negatives but you will get 20-30% bigger buds and some say it increases the resin, but who really knows.

i haven't ever noticed a downside to watering with molasses. the plant always needs carbohydrates. but as with any kind of nute, don't overdo.

The good things about Molasses are it adds micronutrients to your soil and adds carbs to help bulk up your buds. At least that is what most people say. The bad thing about Molasses is that it turns your soil into a hard lump of toffee and can really gum up a hydroponic system. Some people love it and some do not. Try it and see if you like it.

I have been seeing that article go around for over 4 or 5 years. Whenever anyone asks about molasses, that same article pops up. In all that time, I wish there was a more scientific article to back it up but I sure have not seen it.
