Issues with new clones

Hello, I planted clones 4 days ago and since day 2 they
have been droopy with bent stems. They have been dipped
in rooting gel and the ph levels have been balance I have a clone kit with
heating pad and the dome is humid. I have led lights over
it with 24 hr lighting. These are my first. How and how often
should i water them? Are the babies going
to make it? What can i do to make the plants
stronger?

Any pics? Kinda sounds like they need more humidity, Have you been spraying them?

Pictures would really help. And a new grower saying that something is in range is not good. Because what you think is in range might be way out of wack. I hardly ever mist my clones. and I never have them above 78 degrees. (about) Now this might not be perfect, but I have a very high percentage of success. What are the clones in? Jiffy Pucks? Rapid rooters? Dirt? Rockwool? You never want to have your medium soaked. You want that clone to have to search for that water (at times).

I spray the cuttings when using my aero cloner, but I only spray the humidity dome when im not

I'm a cloning spaz. Took me quite a few attempts before I ever produced a single root. During my long evolution from shitty results to inconsistent results, I've learned the following:
Day 1: Everything looks great. Mist the plants two or three times during day one and wait. Dial in the environment during day 1. If you slide your fingers under the dome and can feel noticeable heat, it's too warm. Slide your heating pad half-way out from under the tray to cool things down. If your dome is dripping with condensation, it is too moist. Open the top holes on the dome for a while. Don't mist the dome, spray the plants and soil, even the tray to create a moist environment. Let the heat and confinement create true condensation on the dome. If you have a thin fog on the dome, everything is good, leave it alone.
Day 2: Everything looks pretty bad. Things are drooping and looking like hell. Expect that. You have a plant with no roots trying to survive for four weeks. Continue to monitor and adjust heat and moisture in the dome. Other than that there is nothing you can do.
Days 3-5: Whatever cuttings are going to survive will begin to perk up. Others, not so much. Some will still be ugly on day five, but if it has green on it there is hope.
Cuttings with no green on them are goners.
Days 7-14: Back away from the dome. Keep em moist but don't mess with em too much. Whatever has survived up until this point will probably make it.
Other than that, read lots of blog posts and be persistent.

Hmmmm, I have two different conclusions. 1 The mat could be heating them too much. "They have thermostats for that" 2 When you took you clones you cut though the hollow-ish part of the stem and not the solid node resulting with an air embolism. Pics would help.

Indeed. I hadn't considered cutting through the node. There are a lot of variable that can affect the outcome. I finally gave up and got a 25 site cloner this week. Four days in to my first test batch with a challenging strain and no droopage.
