Issues with USPS shipments?

I was looking for a glass piece to call my own and found that one vendor came highly recomended on RIU, well on July 29th I placed an order with them online for a small Ice bong, nothing special, just a little 36 cm cheapie.
Well their website claims 7-14 business day delivery coming from Amsterdam.
I assume business day to mean Monday-Friday.
Their website spacificaly says that with the standard method of shipping(USPS) there is no tracking number.
I waited the 14 business days, I waited a whole month. Finally I told them the situation and they sent out another one on Sept 6th.
I STILL have no seen either one of them.

I feel terrible for having to demand my money back because they have been nothing but helpful with me. I truely believe that for whatever reason the USPS has claimed these packages as their own. Just for the record I have a specific hatred for the USPS due to lost packages, overdue deliverys ect.

Has anyone had any similar experiences and how did you rectify them?


P.S. I intentionally left out the vendor name to avoid vendor bashing.

how would you be vendor blasting when the have been good to you. trusting you didnt recurve the first one and replaced it. I would ask for them to send it with a tracking number on it. this way you can follow it here. there is nothing wrong with asking

Happens to me no matter WHAT vendor... USPS is shitty shit shit. I'm waiting for a spool of beeline and it says it would be here under 6 business days... I placed my order on sunday and I still have yet to been updated on if USPS received the package... they NEVER update their shit.

The package is from Hawaii and i'm in SoCal... pffff fly it right into my town. The airport has a USPS, UPS ramp. Assholes.
