it was an ambush

My shepski and pit puppy play around the garden while I'm out there. The neighbors dogs (some sort of herding dogs) tried to ambush the puppy plaaying in the tall grasses near the garden . So the shepski attacked them.(so proud of her) These dogs keep coming up to my property getting closer and closer to my house causing my dog to go nutso. They only do it when they are traveling in a pack.. I need some ideas on how to keep these dogs off my property without hurting them (to bad)...

so you're not on good terms with the neighbor so you can talk with them about it? Dog warden? Pepper spray them when neighbor isn't looking? .and you're sure the dogs just aren't playing as dogs do?

No they act aggressive when they are running in a pack. The neighbor is an idiot, but he really cant do anything about it, they are free range. They have been being a real nussance on my property for awhile now

I had this same problem a cpl years ago. Talked to the neighboor, he wouldn't do shit, the dogs would come knock over my trash can everynight and spread it through the yard. I started to just pop the 12 gauge off in the air when they came over to do their deed. It only took 4 times for them to never come back again.

Dog warden, tell them one of them was aggressive toward you or your kids when they were running loose.

You could make a hot pepper oil spray and spray the perimeter of your yard, personally if my neighbors dogs were a threat to my dogs, especially a puppy, I'd kill one of them the next time it happened., if the neighbor didn't make an attempt to stop it..I'd kill them all the next time it happened after that. I'd probably make a point of dumping them on his front step...

My neighbor's roommates dog dog kept shitting in my yard, I don't have a dog... After the 3rd time i stepped in it, i picked up a few piles..mixed it in a bucket with about 2 gals of water and left that with a note saying next time i step in shit I'm pouring a bucket of shit water into her car..it's been 3 months..not one shit in my yard.

Pellet gun works well. Keeps you at a safe distance as well. Your best bed is to record the dogs so if it ever comes back you your harming them you have proof they constantly and consistently come to.your property and do harm

No it would not die just loose an eye. Shot.him in his rear leg quarter. It will give a good sting and welt. After 2 different times he will stop and watch the others get it next lol

Get yourself a paintball gun.they sting like hell and you can usually shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger.you could freeze the balls to pack a little extra punch..

Paintball gun actually sounds like a good idea. Is it possible to make your own paint balls? You could fill em with some stink bomb fluid. Be the worst skunk that dog ever encountered.

Low brass target rounds out of a shotgun. At a distance it won't kill them and I garuntee them to not come back. Any will work. Bb gun, paintball gun, low brass shotgun shell, muzzleloader with rock salt.

Be smart and film the dogs causing problems. I would say film it and call animal control.

My neighbors kept dragging stray dogs and cats in. It got old after they killed a few of my chickens. I talked to the neighbors and they refused to take responsibility for the animals. I will shoot an animal in the process of killing mine. The others I bought some live traps and took them to the shelter.

Here in Co. you have the right to shoot an animal that hurts or kills your live stock. My other dickhead neighbor found that out when he shot the neighbors dog for the only reason of he was sniffing around on his property and has no live stock, he went to jail for that. Im surrounded by dicks, the neighbor infront of me couldnt/ or didnt want to repair his fence so his horses kept coming onto my property (was the last draw when one charged me when i walked out of my house). I had to call the cops bc my landlord didnt do fuck all about it after 20 times. Cops called my landlord and told them since the horse boarders are on the same land he will be responsible. So the neighbors were over the next day fixing the fence (one hr of fixing the fence ,would have saved them hours and hours of retrieving the horses from my property)...dumbasses. So yeah...move from the city to enjoy peaceful country life, and get surrounded by dumbasses that cant figure out that an easy fix woulod save them many hours of retrieving horses and have some respect for the neighbors. Oh yeah, I dont talk to this guy that has the shitty dogs..he stole my mailing address and tries to run a business out of my mailbox (horse boarders)...he was told not to when he moved in by landlord, then a week later by me when i started to get his mail. He told the landlord that he got a p.o. box...never did... still my mailbox is full of his shit. I just return to sender every 6 mths Last time I brought 2 trashbags full of his mail to the post office...insane right...specially for someone that claims to have gotten his own box... just an all around piece of shit he is...and thats just some of the shit hes done to me.....now i gotta deal with his dogs. yes I will record them from now on

Paintball gun would be the safest and funnest. Imo..you can hide in the brush and ambush those muts. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

Yea...i aint buying a paintball gun to use it once...I have some guns, put i dont want to waste bullets...something loud that scares them might do the trick actually...they freaked out when i yelled cursing and screaming at em like i encountered a bear or something...my doge just kept biting their necks lol

buy a cheap bb gun from Walmart... load the clip, locate the dogs, unload the clip...remember to hold the gun sideways .repeat process.
