so it seems as if some of my girls are ready to be cut down.
All of the leaves are completely turned yellow and even some of the bud is starting to as well. so i think its best to cut these certain ones down.
My question is now.. i've been told to hang the branches upside down in a closet for a day or two then im good to start trimming and drying.

but i've also been told to just cut off each branch that has buds and lay them on a wax paper on a cooking pan and put in a brown bag and that will keep more crystals, and to keep it this way for about 5-7days and every day rotate the branches a little.. so basically im asking my best options? this is my first harvest and i want to do everything right the best i can, so any help is very appreciated!!!

I don't know about waxed paper, and only really use a paper bag for summer harvests when the humidity is super high and hang drying seems to take forever. Mine usually get cut, a decent first trim, then I clip them onto hangers and just let them dry naturally. The paper bag thing is good when humidity is high as the paper itself will draw and retain a lot of moisture from the buds. I've heard some people say they hang, then bag, and shake the bag(WTF?!) but for me it's one or the other. Do a good final trim and into jars. Plants look very nice, I love when they start sort of dying naturally like your look to be doing. It lets you know you really did take it to the end and not harvest too soon. Well done, looking forward to a smoke report.

I would hang dry bro. Hand dried buds dry better because the entire surface area of the bud is exposed to air... For a plant that small you could just get a cardboard box, tie string across the top in rows and hang your branches on those strings then put the box in a dark cupboard.. Should take 4-7 days depending on humidity
