It's Getting Too Cold Outside! How Do I Move An Outdoor Plant Inside To Flower?

Here's the scenario. Let's say I was growing a marijuana plant outside in a huge pot, in dirt. I would never do that because it's illegal, but let's just say. Say it was into flower by about 3 weeks. Since it is outside, and has been for it's whole life, it's lights on at "sun-up" and lights out at "sun-down". I want to know if I brought the plant inside to finish, and had the lights go on from 5 P.M. to 5 A.M., is that gonna fuck the plant up? Because in essence, on the day that I bring it inside, the plant will get sun all day, and when it would normally be getting ready for bed, I would be putting it back into another 12 hours of light. Let me know if anyone has ever done anything like this, or what your thoughts are on this. Many thanks ahead of time!

in stead of 24 hrs of light i would give it 24 hrs of dark
than start the 12/12 cycle
just make sure dark is dark
no light leaks
