It's raining ash in Portland!

The forest is Blazin, the sky is brown, and its raining ash!
My deepest sympathies to those that have to evacuate their homes, and my hat goes of to the firefighters, and all the people helping out

The plant buds and leafs are a bit covered.
What would you do?
Shake the plant to get the ash off?
Spray it off with the hose?

Leaf blower on low power.

If you get it wet. It'll form potassium hydroxide. 'Caustic Potash'. If you wash it off, make sure you flush it good.

I live near Big Sur, so last year when that huge fire went through there, there was ash everywhere in my backyard! Luckily I was growing in a greenhouse and it didn't matter, but it was sure annoying who it blocked all the sunlight for so long.

If it's black ash its because they didn't flush.

I've read posts from a few people that went through fires that thier bud ended up tasting like a fireplace.
