ive dried my bud out and it smells nothing like weed

put it in a mason jar or any air tight container for a while. If it isn't already super crispy dry it should get somewhat wet again after a day or so and like lowrider said it will change.

Curing will take about three weeks and the smell you are looking for will come after you are done. Drying is only the first part of the process.

try not trimming the buds before u dry them, trim after they r dry, that makes for a longer dry (and none of that starve ur plant a couple days before harvest neither)

first things first.. did you airy dry them until the stems snapped???

if so.. you waited too long.

take a look at my Drying & Curing article that I wrote. Tons of people have read it.. and its helped out A LOT of people around here. Especially the noobs.. and people that don't really understand how its properly done.. and what all is involved in properly drying and curing your harvest.
