edit: ive pretty much figured out that i wont be purchasing a pre-made box just because of how expensive they are
Alright i've been lurking around here for a while absorbing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. I have a couple bucks laying around that i can use for a grow box. I'm not doing anything commercial, just a nice personal box that is going to supply me and my buddies. I was going to go to home depot to check out some of the cabinets they have (the ones that have the locks on them kind of like a tool cabinet) a lock is a must but easy enough to install if its not made with one. Anyways, just trying to get some opinions on what i should do as far as making/buying a grow box. Should i go for the pre-made ones that are online? expensive but are they worth it? Im not much of a DIYer but that doesnt mean i wont try buildin something of my own. Does anyone have a link to a good size grow box (cabinet) from home depot maybe that they use personally or just one that would work well. I'd like to have a minimum of a 400w hps in there but max of 600w. i'd like to have a flower room and a mother room in the one box.

not sure if i wanna go with hydro or soil. it would be my first real grow if i got this box all set up so suggestions on that would be helpfull too
