I've got a wild story to tell.

So I'm not sure if anyone else has ever had anything like this happen, but this story is 100% true. So I had a clone of a plant that I no longer wanted, so I decided to chop it and compost it in a large storage tote i keep used soil in for the garden. I chopped the clone, threw it in the tote and buried it under about 10 gallons of soil and completely forgot about it. Well about a month goes by and I remember that I tossed that clone in there and was just curious to see if it was breaking down at all. So I start uncovering the plant and what I found was shocking. That plant was still alive and hardly wilted at all. I tried yanking on it because i wanted to take a closer look and the damn thing had grown some pretty decent roots. I'm not sure if this has ever happened to anyone but my mind is blown. That plant survived a month, under soil, with no light or water. I guarantee I could a took a few cuts off of it and they would of survived.

It grew out of the soil and made it to the surface? I'm guessing with the moisture in the pile of soil, it managed to grow roots and naturally made its way to the top to reach sunlight. Pretty cool.
