Yale is considering joining Brown, Penn, Harvard and Cornell universities by picking up the tab for Ivy League students who want sex changes.
The New Haven, Conn., school is still reviewing policies regarding the procedure for its 5,322 undergraduate students and its 6,526 graduate and professional students, but has already extended gender reassignment coverage to employees.
"The benefit is offered to faculty and staff, and is being considered for students," Yale spokeswoman Karen Peart stated in an email. "Cost would vary depending on treatment."

Can we not all agree these schools should receive no federal benefits whatsoever and that they are in a large part
responsible for brainwashing our kids. Certainly it would be far more reasonable just to chemically sterilize these kids.

We can let the grammar dept. do that. I stand fast by my assertion that only words have genders. Living things have sexes.

I never was aware of sex-change opportunities while I was there. i would have stood in line for one ... to change my sex from so-so to awesome. cn

If anything we should sterilize dumb fucking bigots such as the OP. Most people who get gender re-assignment cannot reproduce anyways, it has to do with the whole removing of the original set and the replacement with an artificial set. Sure it may look like the natural version, but it does not function so. Anyways, if we can keep loud-mouthed intolerant types like the OP from breeding it would help save the nation from a fate prophesied in the seminal classic "Idiocracy."

Also the Ivy League schools are private and therefore not funded by the federal government, with the exception of research grants. Private Universities receive the majority of their funding through their own endowments.

Those schools all receive MILLIONS in subsidies each and every year from federal and state taxpayers. Beyond that, there are many students who are borrowing the cost of their education from the Government, more taxpayer expense.

While I agree that the endowments provide the bulk of operating funds, the governments have their finger in all pies.
