Looking to learn and share cutting edge DWC techniques with new friends and high techer's on the forum. Posted my 1st post in the "General Forum" today getting started early:

DWC and Oxygen (an essential nutrient), not air, aeration or hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)

Since I can't find this pearl of wisdom please share with us here - how do you deliver this oxygen (not air!)? Basically your sentence sounds like the title to a research paper so please share the results here.
 
Hrod - Are you a hydroponic techy kind of guy, do you read scientific publications (Horticulture). If you do, I would really appreciate you posting any urs's on this subject for me... I like this new stuff.
 
For Rod: This is not scientific white paper, but written more like a magazine article that may be a little easier to understand.... little less scientific words so to speak.

"Some plants require large amounts of oxygen within the root zone, particularly when growing in the protected, warm conditions provided year-round with indoor gardens. A restricted root zone is limited in how much oxygen it can hold, so it relies heavily on oxygen replenishment. This can be carried out by dissolved oxygen in the nutrient solution, or by oxygen percolation down into the root zone during irrigation."

"If roots require more oxygen than what they can get through replenishment, their function begins to slow, as does the uptake of water and nutrients."

Suffocation is clearly real bad for the plant.
