jack the ripper

Whats up all you heads out there! I have put a few threads on the site concerning the aerogarden and the more research I have done the more Leary I have become of trying to grow in one. So I have decided to make my own free standing grow cabinet with two independent hexagonal shaped water farm drip systems and I have got some jack the ripper seeds on the way.I would like to staple some chicken wire over my pots and try a scrog grow with my J.T.R seeds. My only problem with that is that I'm growing from non sexed seeds and I don't know the female to male ratio on the J.T.R. how can I sex these plants before they grow into my screen. because if I get a male in there its going to be pretty hard to remove it from the chicken screen.Should I just sprout a couple of them out side of the cabinet to find a female and then clone off of that just to start my grow or what. Any suggestions from you experienced growers out there would be very appreciated.

Hiya oregonian, no prizes for guessing which state you're from eh?

Nice choice of seeds you have there, Subcool's offerings are always pretty exotic and from what I've seen (of others grows of JTR) it's a crazy resin producer! As far as I'm aware JTR's ratios are the same as all the others.

Regarding the SCRoG question, you can't scrog them until you've sexed them basically. You'll still have time to scrog them though, I beleive JTR's show sex in veg if vegged for long enough.

So you can either do it that way - wait to scrog them until you've sexed them or take clones, but you'd be better of growing clones in a SOG rather than Scrog.
