Let's hope this thread is big enough for those using similar dry nutes from other manufacturers, like Hydrogardens.com in Colorado Springs, CO.
Their product really isn't enough different from Jacks to, well, make much if any difference. I got their stuff because it was physically close to me, and I'm happy with them. I was unhappy with the nasty blue dye, too- I thought it was covering up stuff that wasn't going into solution- or just sand. I understand they don't use it anymore, so that's good.
On with the thread! Share nute ratios, anyone? Here's mine:
All measurements are grams per gallon;
VEG
2.5 of the 5-11-26 mix (micros are in here too)
2.0 calcium nitrate
1.5 Epsom salt
EC 1.1-1.4, pH 5.5-5.8
BLOOM
2.5 mix
2.5 cal ni
1.5 Epsom salt
.25 MKP
EC 1.3-1.6, pH 5.8-6.2.5
This in RDWC, climate is 80f, 60% RH. Sometimes sealed and bottle feed CO², other times vented.

Absolutely! When I said jacks in the title I was merely looking to keep all the brainwashed snake juice using morons and their shitty techniques out of our thread. I am all for any product that is not liquid (we don't pay for water here) has a well balanced npk ratio, doesn't have a ridiculous name or graphic and is reasonably priced... If your nutrients meet these requirements, please share them with us, there is no ignorance or hating here since we are all people who use the same school of thought!

How many times have you flowered out with this formula...any leaf loss or chlorosis during flowering due to low nitrogen? The level of nitrogen seems very low, we know and have proven that you don't need much phosphorous to have ginormous nugs...UB is now using jacks petunia feed which is a 20-3-19 and he says is better than the 20-10-20 in citrus. I do like that the citrus has 1% magnesium. Don't need to add any Epsom salts...I'd be concerned with the low nitrogen but I don't run dwc so maybe things are different that way?

Well then you and uncle b are going to have to answer them...I don't have the time or the patience Haha! All that's going to do is invite them to come in and argue with you that you use chemical nutes and they use organic and they they can do better than you and I was just so tired of the ignorance they have because some shithead burnout at the hydro store told them to use it that I decided it was time to make a thread for people who understand gardening basics.

I've been running this for a little over 8 months, and leaves only start to turn yellow when it's time to do a changeout.
Instead of getting a formula with more nitrogen, I'll just add more calcium nitrate. The plants like the calcium that comes with as well.

That is a well thought out plan and solution to the low nitrogen problem, well done my friend. Only thing I'd say is that you don't have to worry about that extra step with a product like jacks. See the whole idea is to minimize risk of fucking something up and the more things you have to add and mix is just greater odds of effin something up. Jacks makes a great hydro feed def worth checking out if your a dwc guy.

I add calcium to my medium as Happy Frog just doesn't have enough when you have a longer flowering strain. Take a cup of dolomite lime, mix it in when I'm adding perlite, wet it down and it'd good to to go.
I could change my medium, but I've had great results with Happy Frog cut with perlite

I switched over to promix. My reasoning is because fox farm soils while they work well, they are loaded with nutrients and I prefer to add my own from day 1. I would say my only issue so far with the promix is that it's peat moss so it is like a sponge and must be cut with perlite to make it drain better. I used fox farm for a few grows and always found it tricky to know just the right time to begin your nutrient regiment as the nutes in the soil run out. Again another variable worth removing

That's what I like about happy frog, it's charge is so slight, I can start fertilizing as soon first true leaves start up. Now Ocean forest is an entirely different types story.

That makes sense I've only tried ocean forest so I may have to give the frog a go but so far the results from promix have been stellar once I learned to read and understand the sponginess of it.

Your girls definitely look healthy! Part of the reason I cut my medium with perlite is to have better drainage. I kept over watering them and if the root structure wasn't in place it would really slow down the girls
