JAH Seeds Sweet Blue Sputty & Northern Lights IBL

For the winter grow, I ordered some JAH Seeds Sweet Blue Sputty and a single Northern Lights IBL seed (feminized). I thought I would start a grow journal. They are in a 3x3 grow tent under a CMH bulb. They haven’t been fed properly yet since they just really took off last week. Feedings will be kept simple with Grow Big and Tiger Bloom from FoxFarms (with BioWorm supplemental feeding).
Planted in some Bergers all purpose potting mix in fabric pots.

Let the party begin! Since the tent is tiny, I will probably flower them between 8-12 inches tall.

One feeding of Grow Big did this in a couple days!

The Sweet Blue Sputty look like I could flower them already and fill my tent. I might have to move the Northern Lights to a veg area and save it for later.

These Sweet Blue Sputty may be some of the fastest growing plants I’ve had. Time to go to 12/12.
The Northern Lights IBL is a little smaller but will stay in the tent to flower too.

I’m lucky I started flowering these when I did. Only 35 watts per square foot and insane growth. The Northern Lights is more of a normal speed of growth, the Sweet Blue Sputty are on wrestler-juice…

They grew so big I had to move them to my veg tent to finish flowering. One was growing into the CMH bulb, and I didn’t want a fire in the house so I just broke that sucker over sideways with some LST that went too far. Then more of that plant grew into the bulb. I might just toss that one if it doesn’t get better. Sweet Blue Sputty that didn’t get burned look amazing!
The Northern Lights IBL is still way smaller than all of the others. I dusted some lower branched with something from the Jahseeds regular autoflower pack my friend is running for outdoor next year.

The NL is still small. Not really liking the Foxfarms Tiger Bloom…buds are getting larger, but the leaves look odd. The Northern Lights look more dense with more orange hairs, but the Sweet Blue Sputty is stacking up like crazy still.IMG_1625.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1626.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1626.jpegIMG_1627.jpegIMG_1628.jpegIMG_1631.jpegIMG_1629.jpegIMG_1630.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1626.jpegIMG_1627.jpegIMG_1628.jpegIMG_1631.jpegIMG_1629.jpegIMG_1630.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1625.jpegIMG_1626.jpegIMG_1627.jpeg

The last pictures. I learned a lot this grow. My tents need some better ventilation, and I won’t use Fox Farms Tiger Bloom again on its own for flowering. Considering these plants grew into the 315w bulb, and then finished under only 430 watts in a 4x4 tent they turned out to be really chunky! The smell is hard to describe. It is very strong, but not skunky. Its like what you would smell near a peach orchard on a balmy summer evening. These buds are so big the plants are all falling over. I can’t imagine what they would have been like under proper lighting.
On to the next grow! IMG_1721.jpegIMG_1714.jpegIMG_1714.jpegIMG_1715.jpegIMG_1711.jpeg
