Jars for curing??

Hi All,
So I got these jars for curing, I realise they have to be air tight, but once I got home I poured some water In and there was a slow drip(maybe a drip a second) meaning they’re not air tight! But, with the minimal escape, I was wondering if you guys thought they’d be sufficient? :bigjoint:

I was worried that would make them worse? Maybe pull through moisture and get used up quickly? 1st grow so I have no experience with them?

They will only pull moisture if the inside of the jars dry out too much and, if that happens and you don't have them in there, then your bud would be too dry. You should still burp during curing even if you have them in there, though, to replenish the oxygen.

Yeah, they’re £2 each from Asda!!!Lol
Tbh my first grow hasn’t come out aswell as id hoped. It’s strong as shit though :bigjoint: I’m sharing this grow(3 plants)With a pal, and with the expected yield I dont think it’ll last that long when halfed lol so they’re just to get me on.... this pic was day of hanging...

Ive got 3 Nova OG on week 2 ready to go into the tent and they’ll be all mine!!!! They’ll be getting the presidential treatment… new lights, more nutes (realised now I’ve been giving these half recommended nutes all along :eyesmoke:) and of course… new curing jars.

im doing a z a week at the min while furloughed so these wont be jarred long me thinks:bigjoint:

Thanks, I’ll grab some in the morning. Planning the trim for the evening.

I think Wilko do the decent mason and canning jars from one of the better makes. Quite the range for drying bud or growing mushrooms, they have the red neck seal and not that much more than asda.

Its not just the seal with those cheaper ones, the metal lock isnt perfect either and gets too loose causing gaps.
