I have recently become licenced to produce for a friend of mine who has invested in some new equipment for a second flowering room. I will be running 4 x Blackdog LED Micro-u lights http://www.blackdogled.com/BDmicro-U.html in a sealed room with Co2 enrichment. I also have another room set up with 1000w HPS on a cool tube system.. and I will be running 4 crops between the 2 rooms at different stages. I will start my journal from seed and once I have both rooms fired up with this strain, I will do a side by side comparison between the LED and HPS lights based on an average of 2 crops per room. My grow set up is as follows...
Veg Room
- 2 x 200watt sunblaster CFL's (6400k)
- 1 x 305watt Blackdog LED (older model.. NOT the new universal series)
- 2 x 54watt Sunblaster HO t5's (cloning shelf)
- Co2 is piped in from the flowering room when lights are on
- Cooling is not needed in this room as it runs naturally at around 85F
Flower Room #1
- 4 x 1000w HPS on a sealed cool tube loop (in and out.. no active air exchange within the room)
- 1 x dual fan chiller hooked up to a small deep freeze for recirculation of coolant
- 1 x 8 burner Blu Ox Co2 Generator
- 1 Matador Co2 controller
- 2 x oscilating fans
- 1 x electic heater with thermostat (for night time heat)
- 1 x 2400 CFM blower (Speed Controlled) for cool tube air exchange
Flower Room #2
- 4 x 135watt Blackdog LED Micro-U lights
- 12000 btu Air Conditioner
- Grozone HTC-2007 grow room controller (Controls Cooling and Co2)
- Green air Products Co2 generator (CD-3)
- 3ft active carbon filter (scrubber)
- 2 x Oscilating fans
- Night time heat is not required, as this room backs on to my Veg room.. and they keep each other warm
The conditions in each room are kept fairly exact due to the sealed room set up... not much fluxuation in temps or humidity as there are no outside influences effecting these factors.. I cant freakin wait to start growing this strain!!! Super budz anyone?
