I would put the seed directly into a peat puck and into a heated seedling tray with dome. The trays & domes are extremely cheap and buy your heat mat from Pet Smart and pay way less than for the Hydrofarm unit. No paper towels, no swimming parties. Drop in puck, puck into heated tray with dome and in less than a week you will have rooted seedlings. Root showing strong in a few days after that.

If you water the Fox Farm and let it sit for a bit...Like 3 weeks you can pot straight into. I'm using FFO and it doesn't burn my seedlings as long as I cycle it :joint:

Germinate the seeds before you put them anywhere! Just to stay safe

When roots show plant it in a 4" container. I swear to God. When that is outgrown then move to a lightly larger container. I used to laugh at this concept until I was forced into doing it and discovered it not only works but causes the plant to bush far quicker than if it is planted directly nto your final grow container (which I used to do and to endorse).

As soon as a few roots show you're good to drop it in dirt.

If it has one of those fucking nets around it, or gauze or whatever, it does NOT degrade and WILL screw your roots up. Rip that crap off.

Thanks man...the ones I got are all foam like....kinda like a cig filter!....
The biggest key to success is the heat mat/tray I mentioned after the plugs. Buy one and you will use it over and over. Knowing your seeds WILL germinate makes paying high prices for them much easier.
