Judge a book by its cover?...

Got a question about the ladies, but I think I already know the answer....is it safe to ASSUME that when your lady is young, and you can not smell anything, that the end product will not be any count taste or smell wise?

I ask because a friend started 2 jack flash#5 fem seeds, and one stinks pretty good for being so small and the other you cant smell anything. He was going to throw it out, but I decided to take it in and finish it. I dont want to waste the time and money on it if its gonna turn out like crap tho.

So can you judge a book by its cover?

Thanks!

Plants will often develope smell with maturity.

And heck, if it doesn't smell, then get some colloidal silver and try and get some beans off it. There is a whole market for low odor strains..

I started 2 plants, which both ended up female (actually 3 but I lost one due to gravity) and there was no smell at all except for a couple scattered days when they had preflowers.
As they got more mature, the smell increased, but still not constant- to this day, one almost ready to chop, the smell is not a daily thing. Sometimes I cannot smell them at all, and other days I can smell them through the window from outside.
I pulled a small popcorn bud, and tried it, even with a quick dry on top of the vent for my comp. monitor, it was good.
Just give yours time, the smell will come.
