Just a quick question about rockwool

I have a few rockwool cubes sitting in acidic water. i havent had time in a couple days to plant any cuttings in them... but they have been sitting in that water for those couple days. It looks like a couple white spots showed up on each of the cubes and i was wondering if that is some type of fungi or something and can i still use the rockwool?

Rockwool can get moldy if you let it sit too long in still water. Try picking the spots off and using it asap, otherwise it's probably not going to be any good soon.

Add a bit of H2O2 to the water - it should take care of any mold.
