Just about to start growing

im about to start growing in a bit and have a few Q's. first of all take a look at the pics this is a little experiment i have going . i found a seed in a bag of weed like last year and found it again 4 weeks ago . i planted it 3 and a half weeks ago i have it under my bedside lamp with a [broad spectrum energy saver light bulb] a gardener freind said they work for growing [who am i to say they dont.any ideas on that?] check out the pictures any way and comment on how it looks any tips would be a help to.sry bout the pic quality. oh any ideas as to what it is .its def female

how can u be sure its female ?
we dont even see the stem from those pics
if its female
then it as some pistil near were the node begins
if not
then its imature
just wait
ull see balls
or pistil

yeah, for sure lol . you can say it's def streched like ivy, but female...... hahahha

You gotta wait till it is time to flower or when it is getting close put something over a branch to see if it makes pistol. There is no way to look at these pics and find out. You should wait atleast another 3 weeks before trying that too.

if you want to actually produce some smokable bud from these plants, you're going to need several 42w or higher CFLs (2700k) per plant.

- it's best to spread the light around the plants, so you'd want at least 2 on top and 1 either side..per plants that is.

if it's just an experiment and you don't care if it produces buds, then what you have obviously seems to be working.
