Just removed most of my water leafs fan leafs on my final flush. I see several amber trichomes on flowers. Would you agree time to chop. Notice flowers are still hairy like but cannot deny what I see on trichomes. What do you think are they ready. First time so I'm sorta of nervous. DSC00759.JPG

what about the amber trichs? There at about 30%
Its not ready strains are all different meaning tricomes may be 30 40 50 60percent amber when they finish they won't all finish the same.. Their really is no set rule to harvesting... The tricomes are ripe and that's great.. its definitely an indicator that its almost ready.. But the hairs have not receded and they are all white so its definitely not ready.. Tricomes are one indicator but to go solely off tricomes alone is a mistake... I'm sure you have bought really good bud before.... You know the hairs didn't look like that!

Well they won't get bigger but they could finish and yeppers at least 2 more weeks

wish you seen my thread on what done looks like
Yes they have not gotten any bigger in I say past 10 days or so. Most of the brown and oranges hairs cover at least 50% of bud. Would you feed them again bloom nutes for about another week than?

FWIW: You don't need to ph your water when feeding water only. Low-ppm water has so little buffering capability that it won't influence the soil ph much (even less significant in the last 1-2 weeks of life).

You probably see this when you ph'ed your water. It probably took 1-2 drops to move the ph a full point. Whereas, when feeding nutrients (700-1200 ppm) it takes a good 1/2 tsp.

Think of the buffers as creating "strength" to resist change. The soil has much more strength than low-ppm water.

Plants look great. No more food, and actually you can stop feeding at least the 2 weeks before harvest. They have enough in their roots and leaves to carry them for a month, easy. I cut leaves above buds ( did it today, and tomorrow will have dark green leaves around the bud, instead of that shit yellow leave from a buried bud), and at each bud site, I remove 1 side leaf from the pair found there. I allow for that bud to get it's shit from that one leaf left. I cut off/ or have cut of all water/fan leaves now, so you have less cleanup when you get down to business. A little at a time. I would say optimum cut, 1 week from now. The plant once cut, will continue to grow for another week, before it realizes that it is pipe bound. Cut back on light for the last week, I would recommend 4 hours on, the rest in the dark. Nice job, don't sweat the leaves.

Trichomes are not the only indicator of plant maturity. You want to look at your plant as a whole and you have some time left. As for flushing I grow hydro (NFT and soilless), and I never flush. I don't like to starve my plants when they are in the final stages of bulking. I'd suggest next grow you flush some and not others and see what you think, side by side, with the same genetics. So say 6 clones of the same plant, 3 you flush and 3 you don't.

In either case please leave your plants fan leaves on. She will thank you in bud.

It would have... I mean the OP removed the predominate storage vesicles, the leaves that hold the nutrients and produce energy.

Give it a week at least.
Luv your Hash cane for the holidays @Nullis

Last year I had my employees over for holiday party and made hash "cat turds" that I put about the house in "likely" area's. Every time someone took me aside and commented (usually on the low by whisper) that "Dude, your cat left you a gift over there". I would pick it up and bite it saying, "Mmm, kitty crunchies". The look on their face's was priceless ! Even better when I told them that it was their party favor and to enjoy it. . . . Yeah, I explained at that point and said to not let on to the others.....
