yup..they dont pay shit in the industry. They kinda take advantage of the fact that you enjoy the line of work therefor not compensating you
Or it could be the sheer fact that there are so many out their who want to do it at any wage. The mystique of growing weed gives us the feeling that we are doing something "special". I know I've been doing it so long that I don't even care anymore about the mystique of it. But, I was just thinking this morning and over the last couple of days. I work in administration. Have my own office. It's a total gravy job that I can sometimes go days without doing a damn thing. And my ratings have been over the top. But, I work in an uppidity professional environment. I am low man on the totem poll. Anyway, I was thinking, what if the people I work for and with found out I've been growing and smoking weed for years? Would they be like OMG and admonish me like I am a criminal? If I've been doing this for years, and all of a sudden I am outted? Why would I be astrosized for doing something I've been doing for years without complaint? I mean to me, it's just something I do. Like post in this board. I neither hold myself in high esteem because I do it. Nor do I beat myself up because I do. I literally only grow for my own smoke. I am no longer even associated with anyone that smokes. It's just not common in my own "personal" associations in the environment I am subjected too.
I don't know. I do think it is the "mystique" that drives the ever increasing popularity of being involved somehow in the economy and use of weed.
Oh yeah Hellmutt! Just do it man. Sounds like a nice ride. I once got a job running a printing press I knew absolutely nothing about. I just walked in and asked if they needed any help. The owner asked if I knew how to run the machine. I had an incline of
Experience in the related field and was
Unemployed. I looked him square in the eye and with confidence, told him I could run it. He would only have to demonstrate it to me once. I got the job. Learned the field and eventually became a presence in the industry. Good luck bro!
