Just looking for some opinions on Trichomes and Harvesting

Hello guys,

I was just wondering if you guys can take a peak at these pictures and tell me what you think about them harvesting wise. I don’t think she is ready yet but I do think maybe in a week or two

I am relatively new to checking trichomes and I am using a jewelers loop and my phone. So far I find it a pain in the ass

To me it looks like some cloudy and some clear trichomes, no ambers. This is supposed to be a Sour Diesel and I have read that sometimes sativa dominant strains either take forever or never show amber trichomes when grown outdoors. This one is indoor so not sure if that will be the same.

I apologize if these pictures are crappy and too hard to give any opinions but anything is welcome

Just from what I see you’re 3-4 weeks, possibly longer.

Thank you. Do you think I can expect to see amber trichomes with it being an inside grow?
I grew some outdoor and I wasn’t able to see any amber, just cloudy trichomes and I had to make the executive decision to chop due to weather.

It difficult to tell because so many trich heads are missing. I do see a lot of clear heads so definitely not finished.

Looking at trichs and pistils, I'd say 2 more weeks max.

...Your air quality is horrible. I did get a little nauseous viewing those pics with all that dirt/hair.

Not trying to be an asshole (it does happen naturally haha), I'm just always looking for problems to resolve.

i see what you mean but I think that might be the dirty ass lens from the jewelers loop. It got sticky trying to focus onto the trichomes and I didn’t have any alcohol wipes nearby. So I tried to wipe it the best I could but it obviously didn’t help much.

like I said I think it’s the biggest pain with those tiny loops.

I second this. Tons of white hairs. I wouldn’t even have a scope out yet.

The jewelers loop from vivosun. I find it a pain to get everything focused in. I would like to get a usb microscope but I have apple and I guess it doesn’t work on Apple devices. I suppose I can use it on my laptop though

lol... "first rate" quality

On second thought, they're right, def more than 2 weeks out. Too many living pistils.
I was surprised to see so many amber trichs so early.
