Just looking for yays or nays for a tent and lights

Just questions, would the tent and 2 Mars hydro ts 600 work? I'm asking because the lights were given to me. The tent is on its way. Yay, nays and boos accepted

Shortish tent, but train your plants and grow short plants. It will be fine. Free lights are free lights. Add more later if you feel like it.

I run 320w in a 2*4. It's more than needed. Last time i grew a plant which was like a foot high from the top of the coco and still yielded more than 300g.
 
Thank you for your feed back. I get nervous when people say I can't do it with the equipment I have. Makes me think is it the equipment or the person. I understand both too. I don't want to quit
 
I've grown in the same size tent before and it is a pain .

I was lucky that I bought a lot of boards and heat sinks so by using way more than I normally would I was able to have the boards really close, same idea with strips.

I did have the filter in the tent though so that ate a lot of space.

It can be done but it makes life more difficult

With two ts600s your short on light to light up the whole footprint of the tent.

You can flower 1.5ft x3ft to 2ft x 3ft with the lighting you have
 
Yep, you don't need so much light to start seedlings.

I'd probably use a couple of 20w cfl to start them.
Once they've got a bit bigger swap them for one of your lights at a greater distance and then add your second light a lot later gradually reducing height as they veg bigger
 
You will need to SCROG with a trellis net set about one shelf down from where they are now. My guess is you planned to remove the shelfs as it grows .Keep everything under the trellis till a week or so after flip. You have some ventilation? You will need to remove heat and bring in co2 with some fan and a circulation in the tent is important to keep mold away.
 
Popeye! You hit it right on the nail. That's exactly what I was going to do, as the plant matures the shelves will come down and out. Yes, I have ventilation, I have a fan at the bottom of the tent pointing up. There's ventilation holes which pushes the air out and the fan is right next to another hole which pulls air in
 
Little plant little light. This is a feit grow bulb putting out a whooping 9 watts. Works great till the seedlings start to get a little bigger.
