Just ordered new light!

Hello everyone,

I decided to order a 250 watt switchable ballast from HTG today : High Tech Garden Supply I am going to cool it with this reflector: High Tech Garden Supply and a 6 inch in line booster fan with ducting. My grow box is 41" tall X 24" wide X 15" deep. Should this light work well in my box and give me the huge tight nugs that CFL's just aren't giving me? If you have any comments or suggestions please help me out and post them. Thanks a lot!

Have you had good experiences with them? I have only heard good which is why i chose them... oh and the great prices

Oh yeah lol! I got that exact hood and a 400 watter with a 6 inch htg duct fan and it keeps my tent cool. U are set! I only had to do some fun made me feel like a man kinda work rewiring to fit my ebay purchased econo ballast in there, cake walk. I hadf to get a tent for heat reasons also as the tent is 10 times eaeri to chill than a closet or evening a full bathroom. The tent was 95 dollars on ebay + shipping. 4x4x6.5. Good deaL BUT HUGE LOL, KEEP ME POSTED I WANNA HEAR HOW HOT THAT LIGHT GETS, i had no clue a 400 wud be this hot.

exactly where do you exhaust your light heat? into the room outside of your grow room or do you have it going outside a window or basement? i am waiting for my grow room to arrive, and have everything i need to get going besides that so i am just wondering how you ran your fan ducts

I'm going to vent the heat from the light outside of the box into the room that it is in. Hope i helped ya

My lights isnt going to get here until monday which seems weird because I am only a few hours drive from HTG... Its all good though, I guess I will update when the light comes and i have it set up and everything. Wish me luck!

wow, youre getting a light. i still use candles.

Received my light today and the glass lens for the euro reflector was shattered I hung the 250 watt HPS in the open reflector that came also and is now hanging about 4 inches over my plants. Can't wait to talk to HTG supply and get my new unbroken reflector
