OK!! this is my first grow in the 21st century. i was coaxed into getting some FoxFarm for my nuts, decided against it once i got to the store. guy at the shop talked me into Botanicare. he said i would have more control over my grow then with the FoxFarm. make a long story short, i picked up Liquid karma, Cal-Mag and Pure Blend Pro. im curious on how to use these exactly. do i use them individually? do i mix the 5ml of water it asks for into 1 gallon jug to mix? can i use, should i use ALL 3 together in the same jug? this is where my mind went numb yesterday talking to the guy at the store. i was there for about 3 hours. and the guy i talked to, i have heard similar stories as to his grow, but im far from that stage yet. i trust his insight and judgement and value his opinions based on his years of growing and knowledge. basically he told me he will help me not make the same mistakes he did. which is cool. i just got overloaded with info yesterday and forgot about how i should use the products exactly. can someone please help me? im growing in coco, thought coco was a soil-less medium. i now know its a hydro grow. threw me off for a minute. but im on coarse now. just need help with my nuts. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!:leaf:

I use botanicare as well. all you gotta do is get a 1 gallon jug, fill it 3/4 of the way with water. add the suggested amount of nutrients on the feeding charts botanicare has on their websites or use what it says on the back of the bottles. Id suggest taking off like 5 ml from what they suggest and increase as you go to not burn or overfeed your new plants, they will tell you if they need more. then top off the gallon jug with water. also, after you add a nutrient you should mix it up in the jug before adding the next one. rinse out your measuring utensil in between adding nutrients as well. always add the pure blend pro grow or bloom before any other supplements. make sure you check your ph levels and adjust them accordingly. botanicare causes your ph to drop like crazy so make sure you have a bottle of ph up on hand. botanicare is real easy to use and has good results. just try to stick to what they recommend, when in doubt always use less. good luck.

:mrgreen:Just so you know 5 ml is a teaspoon. I use a half gallon to 55 gallon drum to get 110 to 1 dilution.

Liquid Karma is the shit ! u can use it in veg and flower. pure blend pro and cal mag are decent. It depends on you, not the guy at the store telling you what to use. I'll give you some good advice, Go to botanicare's website. They have feeding charts telling you what to feed them, how much and when. What you need to understand is the NPK values of these nutrients. The NPK values are the numbers on the nutrient bottles, example 2-3-4. These are numbers are considered (macro nutrients). There are Macro nutrients and Micro nutrients. Macro nutrients are Nitrogen,Phospurhus, and potasium. Micro nutrients are the "trace elements" or trace nutrients, example (cal, mag, sulfur) etc. What you need to do is study these Macro and micro nutrients to get a better understanding of nutrients itself. Botanicare has a great line of products. My opinion, You will do good with botanicare. Also what you should understand is that you can mix nutrients. Just because you use Botanicare's Liquid karma doesn't mean you have to use the rest of botanicare's line up. You can mix and match to get a killer nutrient mix. ! anymore questions PM me . Happy growing bro !

also Coco is a soil-less medium and the PH should be between 5.5-6.0. Try keeping is closer to 6.0 !! PH of 5.5 and less can cause nutrient lock out and can burn your plants.

AWESOME!!!! SOUNDS LIKE VERY GOOD ADVICE!! i went home with the feeding chart. ive used all my nutes a few times already and have seen some success! my concerns now are....the leaves the took a dump on me, i pulled off. i have some that need to be pulled. but if a leaf dies is it the end of the world?? i have lost a few leafs but i dont think its a biggie. i am growing a Skunk. and it still hasn't come back 100% yet. it seams as if it needs a little something more. everything else looks good. little crinkling of some leafs but nothing major, or to worry about...i dont think. i know i sound like a complete noOb, but i have been studying this for years! did a little growing when i was 17. that was 15 years ago!! lol!! things have changed a lot in that decade in a half. so im adjusting to the times. before we where just messing around and came out with a really really good product. for what our means were anyways. thank you for the insight and the advice! i am looking for something possibly a little higher in phosphorus or potassium. that is what i believe he Skunk is showing me signs of. i should probably post pics... ill get some up soon. but that should be good and get me through the next few weeks. i am in week 4. and am thinking 7 weeks then switching the ones that im going to to flower into the flower tent. im just basically looking for mothers right now. i like variety, plus have a huge list of genetics at my disposal from saving up over the past 12 years. i know, some of them will give me problems. but...i have the patience. plus im looking for different phenotypes. please feel free to give me some more knowledge. its always good to learn a new thing or 2. thanks again for the help!!!!
