just started flowering stage, leaves wilting, brown tips, falling off

I just started the flowering stage of my plant a few days ago. I know the nodes are really spread out, what caused that? I havent had a problem before so I havent posted anything, but in the last week or so i've noticed the lower leaves falling off and a lot of the lower leave shave brown tips. today i noticed some are now even curling. The top half of the plant looks great though. Lighting problem? Or a soil problem? I was thinking maybe magnesium or potassium deficiency. how do i check that? I use filtered water and peat moss soil. This is not where I keep the plant normally. did it for lighting

wide nodes are genetic based on plant type. they can be beneficial because they allow for a thinner canopy, allowing access to lower buds. this being said it seems that you need to prune up further. indoors, even with wide nodes, artificial light will only penetrate the canopy so far. chop the bottom growth to promote top growth, nearer to the light, this growth will be healthier, bigger, and more potent.

i've beeb pruning off the lower leaves as i've noticed them dying. What's causing the curling and browning tips, could that be the lighting?
