My 14 plants are one month old. I planted them in FFOF and 10 % pearlite. Planted in 5 gallon buckets with some rocks in the bottom. One of the pots is filled with miracle grow organic mixed with a little schultz seedling starter soil worm castings and bat guano.
They were all sprouted then planted at the same time. They have had few problems so far. All that has been bothering my little garden is one plant I have in the miracle grow mix. It is lime green. the first few pictures will be of it. I have also burned the top of a plant I have pictures of that as well.
My intentions are to sex my plants as soon as possible and keep only 4-5 plants for my legal concern. I am hoping to veg them for one more month minimum make one or two hopefully in to mothers for the outdoor season and finish the rest indoors.
They are lit up with a 600watt HPS in a cooltube p;aced around 8 inches away they take it well. I have to water them each about a gallon every 2 to 3 days tops and everytime I water them they boost in size considerably. Its actually rediculous how fast they grow. I also have 2 68w 2700k cfl's, 2 65w 6500k cfl's, 6- 14 watt leds, and a 50w led panel that all help with side lighting. I believe considering my plants are sitting on less than a 3-3ft (3.5 by 3.5 tops) surface area with over 100,000 lumens in various spectrums less than a foot away will produce me a large gram to watt ratio. I want at least a pound.
I have been saving seeds for years of all the random crazy seeded shit i've smoked and this is my way of paying myself back for all the times I had to sort seeds out of my buds. My plants still aren't showing sex except for one of them that may be showing signs of manlyness
damn it. But as long as 1/3 turn out healthy famales Ill be more than happy.
My tempartue is at a high 82 and at a low of 72 Ive been having troubles with lowering the temp a bit but doesnt seem to be that damaging so far. My rh has been averaging 50% at a high of 75% and low of 30% so long as I remember to refill my humidefier. Every other watering I am adding a bit of mexican bat guano 10-3-2. My soil temp is between 65 to 70 max. It being on tile floor helps it cool and drain. Quite conveinent. I fim and topped a few plants figuring what the hell why not and I have the makings of a bush. I really hope it becomes a pretty lady!! This whole not knowing thing is driving me nuts. I cant wait to deal with clones and maybe do a bit of breeding.
I was brought up around growing hydroponics and have always been fascinated, Once I get this first crop done I hope to be on my way to more advanced things. I am going to start a homemade aero setup with co2 and a fogger my next time around at least thats my goal, a dual 600w hps and maybe 1000mh as well.
I used to love the feeling of walking into a hydro weed jungle and having more weed than You could possibly ever smoke. Its been about 4 or 5 years and I cant wait any longer I need that feeling again. I almost want to move somewhere safe to do a big grow op legally just becaouse I'd never want to leave my garden you feel me. Its like my greatest passion I'd have to say.
I've been reading RIU for over a year and just recently joined. I had to. Tho I've only posted a few things I have read thousands of posts. Everyone here has given me the resources to do everything. So in a way the same way I love my garden I love all of you members here at RUI. You all kick ass. So does Jorge Cervantes and urban grower check them out! But becaouse of all the people here we have more knowledge then any one person ever did before the advent of the internet. Kick ass. Super bowl Sunday guys! And yeah This is my gif to all of you.
