i just started growing again i have made a grow box out of a gun casue i have one grow light 75 watts and a soft white bulb also 60 watts on 3 seedlings in miracle grow i germinated the seeds and put them into soil 6 days ago and they still havent sprouted should i continue the 24 hours of light and how much should i water them should i add nutrients
If you're using miracle grow than you're already running a risk of nutrient burn, so whatever you do, DO NOT add more nutes. At least not for one month or until they show a deficiency.
If they haven't sprouted yet then keep the soil moist (not wet). Once they have germinated, just water them when the soil is dry (stick you finger in one inch into the soil and if it is dry then water. A mistake many people do is over-water which results in root rot.
The lights are adequate for vegetative growth but you'll probably need more when it comes to flowering. You can keep the lights on if you want or switch them off and check them regularly. If the lights don't come on soon after they sprout they'll stretch.
